Donkey cart coal sellers in a city street. The sellers buy coal from the mines at 4 AM, transport the coal 20 kms to the city center to sell for domestic heating and cooking use. They earn about 100 RMB (10 ¤) per day. 75% of China's growing energy needs is supplied by coal, the cheapest and dirtiest form of energy. China is the world's largest producer of coal.
