South Sudan - Birth of a Nation
An elderly woman sits infront of her home suffering from an intestinal illness. Her village has no potable water or public services. Villagers take water directly from the river for drinking, cooking and washing. The inhabitants suffer from chronic diarrhea and other illnesses. A project to drill bore holes and install water towers is waiting for clearence of unexploded ordinance left over from the war in order to begin.
