As an infant, Nathum Mehsen, was exposed to smoke from a tank that was destroyed by depleted uranium weapons and lay burning for several days near his village along the Iraq-Kuwait border. A few months later, he began to develop skin irritations that continued to worsen into the skin cancer that he suffers from today.
