Landmine victims are omnipresent in Angolan society. Despite vast reserves of petroleum, diamonds and natural resources, decades of fighting between FAA (Forca Armada Angolana) forces and UNITA rebels have riddled Angola with landmines, impoverishing and crippling its people.
